Bernardo was directly involved in the lead up to two of the goals, I think. It's just that he doesn't get credited with the final assist that means people overlook his contribution; however, it's him getting into space the ball and feeding others quickly that creates their space. Similarly, he played Mahrez, Foden, and Torres in, but their return/next passes were poor and surrendered possession. He can improve, certainly, but that also applies to the vast majority of them.

One of those "busy" players that you need in a derby game , he wont give their defence/midfield a minutes peace , will be disappointed if Bernardo doesnt start the derby , we need him ratting around the Rag players for 90 minutes , and giving mouse eared Fernandes a reminder of how far his team has to go before being considered title contenders.

Lots of people were negative towards Stones too, now he’s pretty much the first name on the team sheet. I’m sure Bernardo will get back to his best, we’ve seen glimpses of it this season and more will come

He’s had one good season and one exceptional season and we’re only 11 games into his fourth season.

He was actually really good for the months after the racism issue and he was in poor form just before it and has been really below par since COVID came.

But in December and January last season, he was brilliant. So it has nowt to do with the racism thing for me.

It’s a consecutive string of games in the same position he needs more than anything.

He surely can’t be any worse than Mahrez on the right in these games against the top 6.

Not exactly shone whenever played in the middle but hopefully he improve with more game time.

How has this happened? One of the world's best players in 2019, played with such joy and personality and adored by every fan. A total passenger ever since. Surely Pep has to take some serious responsibility here as well, I just can't understand it.
