He needs rest like for 4-5-6 months without football - watching Netflix and eating donuts and then maybe he will start a new life, playing football we all expect from him..

Right now he looks like a dead battery and it’s sad to watch him being like that..

What do you think he was doing from March to June during lockdown?

I think people put too much stock in the idea that we can't get the best out of him when Kev's on the pitch. He was brilliant in the second half of his first season (which seems to have been erased from a lot of people's memories) when he was played on the right and I think I'm in the minority of people who think that's still his best position.

That was 2 and a half / 3 years ago. He's had plenty of torrid games on the right since and plenty of games without KDB in the team when he's played really well. Of course they can play together but in recent times there is no doubt Silva has been better when KDB isn't alongside him.

Did you watch the game last night? He was everywhere.

Flashes of his old self last night, I don't think he will be starting Saturday but will get another 90 against Marseille.

He needs a run of games , which is difficult when Pep is making 5 or 6 changes every game , its a neccesasary evil unfortunately to give players the right rest and recuperation , but he was superb against Porto , not sure if it was the return to Portugal to prove a point , but we sorely need some more performances from him, like last nights match
