I meant as a forward as was said therefore in a front 3 or as a number 10. As a grafter and ball retainer in midfield he’s superb. David was unique in terms of being able to dictate a game so I wouldn’t really compare anyone to him.
 
honestly had it in my head he'd be with us for many many years. just seemed a good fit.

Not to worry though, his performances haven't been the same since 2019 and not sure he'd get that form back. Would be good to get £60m+ for him.
 
for someone who's apparently so bloody desperate to leave the multiple trophies he gets here, he sure as shit isn't doing anything to find even a single team to put down anything resembling a respectable offer. put someone's offer on the table or shut up.

Barca have no money, Atletico won't buy him until they sell Saúl.

Think he's got to get used to staying another season.
 
Been a joy to watch him the past few seasons and seems a top guy. Bit of a victim of rotation imo. Would be guttting to see him leave for less than 60 million.
 
Never been the same player since the Mendy incident. Improved last season but still looked like he’d only just got out of bed 5 minutes before. First two years and he had a constant smile on his face and seemed to be joking all the time. I think the whole ordeal probably soured him towards the country a little bit and now he just wants a clean break. Good luck to him as he seems a very decent person.

I think he is leaving because of Pep.

Because Pep is using him to fill in the gaps ( RW , CM or even false striker ) instead of letting Bernardo plays always in his favorite position. ( And I don't know whats his favorite :) )

Instead of letting Bernardo becoming the next Zidane, he is turning him to the next Milner.

Even if that's true it's been widely reported from all angles that he's looking to leave for personal reasons.
