NO BERNARDO NO PARTY !!!!!

Pep played team and rotated similarly to the Villa game, but here we had difference
in the midfield area..

Without Bernardo we aren't able to play Pep`s philosophy...

Amount of times - ball was lost during the build-up or stupid / quick decisions - was the worst during this season...

Imagine this midfield against Aston Villa and I'm not even mentioning teams like PSG.... :D

This is just stupid. As good as Bernardo is, Pep system doesn’t depend on any individual player. Last year Bernardo was very far from great and we still dominate. 4 years ago Bernardo was average and we broke all the records.

Sure we miss our two best midfielders, but today’s match was meaningless, so our players put little to no effort. If you think we wouldn’t have won this match if it was important…

Could you maybe stop acting like you're the only one who recognizes how good Bernardo Silva is? It's honestly tiring

Also, Bernardo played in the Champions League Final and didn't turn up, just like the rest of the team. It happens sometimes.

He's been sensational this season but I don't think we'd have won that game tonight if he played and everything else was the same. We just didn't look up for it at all

He was good, not great. Not even close to the levels he has produced this year. Every offensive player produced more key passes, dribbling, goals, assists than him last year(Foden, Mahrez, KDB, Sterling, Gundogan and Jesus). You can check those stats or I can get them for you if you’re too lazy,

If Pep thought so as well (that stats are important), he wouldn't play KDB as a False 9 and Bernardo as a RCM during the whole playoffs last season..

Bernardo has similar importance for this team, like Xavi had for Pep`s Barcelona..

Xavi isn't measured by goals or assists, but by the midfield that dominated possession against any opponent in the world and that's what Bernardo delivers to this team..

There is no other midfield player in this team (except maybe Grealish who hasn't played there yet..) - who is able to retain the ball during the high pressing situations. And when that's the case - you are one level below - than you could be with the help of Bernardo.

Less you possess the ball - more attacks you receive, more you have to run to get the ball back and etc.

It's not a coincidence that calm and professional player like Kyle got the red card today, I think that was his first time as a City player and that happened because, defenders got vulnerable with this dynamic and open game - they are not used to.

Xavi is a top 30 player of all time, and his tempo and possession is the best in history. He has 2-3 times more passes per match than Bernardo even in his best seasons. As good as Bernardo is, comparing him to an ATG…by the way Xavi has 160 more assists than Bernardo.

Bernardo is our best player of the season, he is an incredible player, and he was good last season. My point is: not even Messi in his prime was indispensable on Pep’s team. No player is.

Taking any conclusions about any player, for good or bad, on a meaningless game is pointless. And I love Kyle, but I would never describe him, as a calm player.

I did not say it is one man team however we are top this season and relying on one player more than any other season.

I see today how the team is missing him and yes we have all the other stars Foden, Mahrez, KDB, Gundo, Grealish and Sterling on the field.

It is fine if you do not agree, it is an opinion.
Since Pep joined the club the emphasis has been on teamwork and a team ethic but you suggest we wouldnt win games without Bernardo.

You are again digging into statistics, but I'm not talking about it - I'm not counting somethings per game, I'm signifying player`s importance and that's what matters here..

Xavi had his own qualities, Bernardo has his.. But both of them deliver the best ball possession to Pep and that's what is important here.. Yep, maybe Xavi had more passes - but Bernardo has more successful dribbles and one of them we experienced against Liverpool or like Pep suggested - we can watch every game from 18/19, last season or this season and once again understand how good he is..

And also, when Pep says that he is the best player in the PL - that means that without the best player in the PL - you will have problems, otherwise he wouldn't be the best and especially labelled by his majesty Pep so..

We missed Rodri far more than Bernardo tonight , Leipzig were allowed to run through our midfield against an ageing Dinho , your smoke blowing up Bernardo's backside is getting tiresome , we get it , Bernardo is the bestest footballer ever , satisfied.
