Very easy DATOIA is a Bernardo fanboy, not a City fan. If Bernardo plays outside his preferred position, he will complain.
whether it was a mistake or no, who knows. What I know is that everyone except Gundogan played poorly, and playing as a false 9 should not be a excuse for such a low level and several mistakes from Bernardo today. But of course, DATOIA will say that we would’ve won if Bernardo plays in his preferred position…

It was a huge mistake playing him false 9. complete waste of our most effective player this season.

Oh yeah, I think it was a mistake, but that doesn’t mean that Bernardo didn’t play poorly, and his shooting and decision making was subpar. Anyway, all the team was poor today and I was just answering to a guy who thinks Bernardo is the best player ever and the only reason why our team is so good.

This is the problem though. When Foden plays F9 it’s a waste, ditto Grealish.
When the F9 pays off (as it mostly does) it’s great but when it doesn’t it looks powderpuff

For me it's more than Bernie is important in our midfield.

Foden is better imo as a F9 than Bernie. He's more dynamic and forward thinking, whereas Bernie likes to protect the ball more.

I would understand if you actually spoke your thoughts. Not everyone tags your posts from 2019.
 
He is shite everywhere except that RCM role, but on that RCM role he is the best player in PL and that's the fact.

Every big game we lost this year or drew -> PSG away, Liverpool away, Tottenham both matches - were lost when Bernardo didn't play RCM role or even worse - wasn't in the midfield or on the bench.

On the other hand -> PSG home game, Chelsea away and home and etc. and etc. we won when Bernardo played that FUCKING RCM role..

Also, Rodri struggles and has problems every time he has a different partner there.. Is that coincidence ? I don't think so..

I don't understand what kind of idiots work in the club's analytical department, so that they couldn't deliver this information to Pep..

Why isn't it still obvious and understandable / obvious fact for everyone (for whole Universe), that Rodri - Bernardo duo in midfield is vital and cornerstone for success in every big game (Until you buy someone who can replace them, but unless... just fucking adapt to it and pick the best line-up..). What the fuck was he doing today on LW position or on False9, why for fucking years since 2018 - we are trying to play Bernardo everywhere, except his best position, where he is the best player in the world / PL..

When you have Messi like talent, why you should continue experimenting - except accepting the fact and proceeding further..

I don't give a fuck about the Bernardo (for those who called me Bernardo fanboy here.. :D), I just want my team to win and right now - Bernardo is vital for that.. Without him we are loosing every big game and that's the fucking statistics here, not my illusions..

We saw in Chelsea game that KDB can perfectly play that LCM role, he scored the winner there.. But still, he continues to play RCM and make crosses - when team plays without a central forward, when he could play LCM and score "Chelsea like" goals in every fucking game.. :D

What was wrong in that Chelsea game.. Didn't we control the ball perfectly ? Didn't we dominate ? Wasn't KDB fully utilized in that match ? Why not stick to that and play like that, why you still have to choose Gundo-KDB partnership and once again see the total destruction of midfield and defense..

These are the questions I will never get answers for, unfortunately..

But if Pep continues like that, we are gonna definitely loose the title race.. No chance, KDB continues as RCM and we maintain this 3 point lead, that's just impossible.

No idea where Bernardo was playing today he was all over the place like he had a free role , all the team were interchanging which usually works to be fair , but we lacked a structure in the middle of the park and Spuds were running through our midfield , Rodri was run ragged at times. Bernardo needs to be in the centre to use his energy to track opponents , credit to Kane he was the best player on the park but he was allowed the freedom to control the centre of the park and dictate play , Dinho would have nipped it in the bud and realised the danger.
