It was me. For me squad player is being 4-14 player in the team (1,2 and 3 are obv KDB, Dias and Foden).

BUT Bernardo today was brilliant. His energy and pressing is always there, but today he dribbled and was going forward and breaking lines a lot of the time. That's what I want: offensive production.

I am the happiest every time a City player shut my mouth, and I would be gthe happiest if Bernardo keeps dribbling forward every match.

I think someone who dares to call our best RCM a squad player could be qualified as clueless and uninformed. I could accept having doubts on the ability of someone like Torres or even Grealish who is yet to reach a consistent high level as a starter in a club like City but not someone like Bernardo. Unlike a popular club favorite who has been lacklustre since coming back from the end of last season to now, the likes of Bernardo and Gundogan sadly don't even get half of recognition they deserve and most fans don't even realize their importance. One slip up and a bad match from them and the mob is out with their pitchforks.

Give yourself a slap if you wanted Bernie transferred.

A lot of people were more than happy to receive a pittance just to send Bernardo to the door.

fucking hell i love bernie! I can only hope now that travel is somewhat easier that he rethinks his wish to leave and his the fire lit again to stay with us.

Him and Rodri together is our spine this season. Increasingly I'd prefer Kev to play the free role, and put one of Grealish or Gundogan in with those two, but Silva and Rodri are currently the most important.

Was sensational yesterday (again). Chases everything and on the ball is just unplayable. Keeps it simple when he has to and just dances through the opposition. I'm gutted Foden didn't hit that shot first time after his mazy run because the work Bernardo put in turning 720 degrees and then beating 3 further dippers... before playing a sublime pass...deserved a goal.
