We will. He was unbelievably cheap for how talented he is. Unlike Mendy who was unbelievably expensive. It seems like they made up on their mistake of sending us Silva cheap by sending us Mendy at an overprice. :)

The thing is that there was nothing Mendes could have done for us once United came calling.

Ronaldo would always have preferred United and they apparently offered more money too to both player and club.

Mendes did enough, so for that reason I don't think Bernardo is going to suffer for it.

Although Bernardo may have to stay if we don't bring in anyone.

I understand he wants to move away from manchester and closer to family, but maybe everything starting to open up again will help him out a bit.

People on Twitter are saying he had a tear in his eye when he came off. He did wipe his eye as he jogged off but he could have had an itch, who knows. It feels like that was his last game for us though.
