He got us that win. Without his intensity we spend 25 minutes of the second half passing it around the back doing nothing before whimpering to a defeat or at best a late equaliser. Actually thought he would have come off at halftime, not because he was particularly bad, we just needed gundo on the pitch and I think if he hadn't scored when he did it was about to happen. You can't not give MOtM to Haaland when he gets a hattrick but Bernardo was comfortably MOtM.
Said it last summer, said it this summer and I'll say it again, we win nothing without Bernardo.

He was the catalyst for that comeback, drove us forward everytime he had the ball and was decisive.

If Pep doesn't take Marhez off and move Bernie wide that comeback doesn't happen... Has looked a lot better out wide than he has centrally at the start of this season, maybe see him there more frequently and Gomez could pick up minutes in mid
