Haaland and Foden will - rightly - get the plaudits. But Bernardo was my man of the match - absolutely superb.

He was great, but players getting hattricks pretty much trumps every other performance unfortunately.

Even Grealish who I think played great, had no goals or assists, won't get much mentions.

The hat-trcik lads take the headlines but Bernardo was sublime today , he ran the midfield and covered every blade of grass, we need to lock him in a room and put a new contract under his nose and tell him he doesnt escape until he has signed for another five years.

A exceptional player who just keeps getting better. He ran the show today.

If we can somehow get him to sign a contract extension that will be better than other signing we could make next summer.

His value to the team can not be overstated, whilst Haaland and Foden will get all the headlines, he was everywhere and covered every blade of grass. He even filled at DM when Ilkay left the field.
