He’s 30, he’s nowhere near past it. He’s just played a shitload of football in the last few years and in varying positions pretty much every game, he’s had a period of being off form but he’s still got a shedload to give.

We'll see but he's been off form since the second half of last season.

Best game in months for Bernardo last night, you will always get workrate from him but of late he hasn't been able to keep the ball and his passes have been going all over the shop. Last night he was controlled, kept the pace of the game to where it needed to be and looked closer to his old self. If he can pick that up for a few more games, maybe he stays?

He is much better centrally but we knew this years ago. Why he was ever in the wing this season is beyond me.

But as much as he is better in the middle he needs to be replaced with younger and fitter. He has very little inventiveness and he is consta tly fouling.
