He’s not justified it for 12 months but he’s untouchable on here. His performances are so far below the required level it’s unbelievable. He’s got plenty in the bank for his former efforts and my word, he is well and truly dipping into that bank.

I have criticized him all season long, but not today. He was truly trying and moving really well and having plenty of ball.

He wouldn't be a starter with me, but today he was good. By far the best in the midfield. Well done.

either play false winger like last season with gvardiol pushing up or play whatever winger is available, he didnt even try him before the injury crisis and the midfield has been getting overrun for a while

Maybe he doesn't need to start every game and play every minute of said game from now until the end of time? I don't know. Really annoying to see Foden shafted wide today and bernardo allowed to roam. Just doesn't offer enough attacking quality.

Thought he was everywhere again, but just no where near as creative as he can be at the moment

A few years ago he was an attacking right winger, turning the best full backs inside out

He's being asked to help control a game centrally, and he's just become a jack of all trades

I thought he was slowing our attacks down. No pace to really drive with and 99% of the time is going to cut back onto his left and slow it down.

Defenders aren't having much difficulty defending against him at the moment

Love Bernardo when he's driving forward at the opposition, like a duracel bunny, none stop.
Recently though, probably under instruction, he receives the ball and plays it backwards or sideways ( same as Phil now ) his attacking threat is diminishing because of it.
I think him and Phil aren't playing well at the moment, I don't like either playing on the wing, I want them both driving at defenders through the middle causing chaos, confusion and chances.
