I wouldn't mind, this latest report is nothing better than a German Sky Sports roundup.

A few of the staff asked about the A Bola front page last week and Bernie said was news to him and nobody had told him he was leaving.

He's in the perfect situation of having a year left and City being in no position to dictate him leaving and to who.
 
Love Bernardo. One of my faves. Don't win as much without him over the years. Always.played for the badge.

Only for Benfica, I would let him leave for free if he wants to even with him having a contract. Any other team, pay up.

On the third, he pointed out the play to Nunes who obligingly followed and executed perfectly. Superb piece of leadership at a time when it looked like we would never break through
 
Reading the criticism on here I get the sense that many posters have a deep dislike of our possession based game. To pin back an inform Everton with bigger,quicker, stronger players on their own ground for long periods is to me impressive and then to eventually wear them down by constantly moving the ball is one of the ultimate team performances of the season. I find it utterly bizarre that posters are digging out an individual player who was integral to this.

Now Bernardo's instructions on Saturday certainly weren't to get to the byline and get crosses in for the big centre forward. Because Haaland wasn't playing. And Everton's defenders are giants.

So if faced up by the full back and the dribbling option isn't on it's perfectly valid to keep passing the ball. Many on here seem to think it's like Roy of the Rovers where the wide players should be dribbling past 3 players before lashing it into the top right hand corner; a world where there are no consequences to losing possession and the opponents aren't full of quick, physical players who are just primed and ready to counter attack.

Possession is good when we have the right players and end product to show . Over time he last few years we have been able to achieve our goals but not anymore and before you say yes atm we have strung some results together but we have also been smashed are times this season as our players are too old . Next season we need to play to haalands strengths and attack at speed and let him run into balls and I’m sure with him and Mamoush we will start to smash opponents again .
