I absolutely thought the same. There was a lack of Pep's City DNA in midfield and I thought Bernado was coming on to provide it. It was bizarre that he ended up playing on the right. Looked like he was not fully fit. Maybe the lack of pre-season and player changes were a big factor.

Unfortunately, I have to agree.
Because of his versatility and that he is captain, Pep will continue to play him more than he should.
He seldom passes the ball forward and rarely tries to beat his man, or even cross the ball.
His main strength his he can still "keep" the ball.
But, City need to be 3 goals up before this is needed.
Along with Gundo, he should have left at the end of last season with his held head high and with our eternal gratitude...
