Yeah, I mean maybe he hasn’t got the leg for a full 90+, but I don’t think Nico O really improved things noticeably when he came on for him on 72 mins …
 
I love Bernardo Silva always have. But he is neither one thing or the other in this team. Probably the setup that's the issue.

3 years? Two maybe. Tbf to the lad at least he never stops running is always available and clearly gives a shit. More than some who’ve contributed far less to our past glories.

Bernardo can walk away from City with his head held high, whenever he leaves.

In my opinion, Bernardo was the most important cog in the Guardiola machine over the 2017 to 2023 period.

His workrate has been phenomenal, and you could probably count the number of 'bad' games he had over that period on the fingers of both of Abu Hamza's hands.

I honestly doubt that we'll ever be able to adequately replace Bernardo. He's a one-off.

I'm sure he's still intelligent and picking up the correct positions for Pep's system, but even so, he seems to be at about 80% pace. Can't get away from a man and clearly hasn't the strength either. Subbing him now is a bit of a risk, but might make us a bit more dangerous also.
 
One of my favourite players, but finished. Never had much pace but nothing now and no strength to keep the ball. Too many miles on the clock and should be nothing more than a late sub until he can retire to Portugal

Love him to bits, but this is defo his last season with us, can still do a job but his legs ain't what they were, couple of times he's shifted the ball like he always has, but not had the legs to keep the ball. Dorgu has physically the better of him
