2015/16 Home Kit

yeah, you are safe. it'll be white shorts/white socks, next season, white shorts/blue socks season after, then blue shorts the season after that.

they have to change the kits somehow it make them look 'difference and new' each season from a selling view point.

This doesn't seem to be an issue for United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, or in fact any other team.

it's what has happened since the 1 kit a season trend started.

Those teams haven't escaped the changes season by season, but have been more sutble like changes and colours to collars etc. United alternate between black and white collars, Chelsea have had White, Gold, Red changes, Liverpool have yellow, white changes, Arsenal have had white socks, red socks, white sleeves, red and white sleeves etc. ... subtle, yet different each season.

Someone at City needs to sit down with Nike and which ever future manufacturer's and say, "The kit of MCFC is Blue Shirt, White Socks, Blue Socks" (for example) and that this is the base that cant be change, but subtle differences can be altered season by season inline with history and identity of MCFC. But no one has done that, It will just be Nike saying "this is what sells more in your case ...."

I don't think it's just Nike, I think it's the club hierarchy as well. It started by in the 11/12 season with making the sponsorship writing and logos navy or black, and this season there's no white whatsoever. Since the takeover the history and image of the club has been treated with immense respect by those running the club but you do wonder if in the long term there's an intention to modify the club's image ever so slightly in terms of the kit.
