I have correctly predicted every election since George Bush Jr's first term. My predictions were just based on a general feeling around the candidates' personalities, the political/economic situation and middle-ground sentiment in the US. My feeling this time around is that Biden will win a landslide (bigger than the polls suggest), gaining control of the senate.

There were a lot of undecided voters in states like Michigan that decided to give Trump a chance last time around. He wasn't a politician, how bad could it be? Hillary certainly couldn't be bothered to even feign interest in them and certainly didn't offer them anything positive.

I just feel that the vast majority of undecideds will end up voting Biden this time around. Trump really doesn't have any successes to cling to. We're in the midst of a second wave of the virus. The economy is in the gutter. The racial divide is the worst that it has been in a long time. America has become a pariah state internationally. Last time there wasn't really a persuasive reason for the middle ground to vote Hillary. This time it's different.

Think that all makes a lot of sense.

Simply put, the “persuasive reason” last time around was “Trump will fuck up the country.” But the counter-argument was “Trump might not fuck up the country.”

Now the “persuasive reason” is “Trump did indeed fuck up the country.” What’s the counter? There isn’t one.

The text before the map was actually the key part there.
A map has nothing to do with policies.

A map shouldn't affect policies made to elevate the poor and working class.

Separate discussion but you keep conflating the points.

Malcolm X and Dr King's points are separate from States, blue and red.

You purposely create a straw man to underline your point.

You're referencing Martin Luther King Jr's thoughts on the Democratic Party from 60 years ago and I'm telling you it's completely irrelevant because the Democratic Party was completely different in terms of policies, voting blocs, and basically everything for that matter as compared to the current day. California was voting Republican at the time and Alabama Democrat. It's a useless comparison. The map is illustrative of that point but you're purposely being difficult for some reason.

Basically, yes...

I'm saying Dem policies 60 years ago are as ineffectual as they are today. The 'incremental' differences since then are such that the wealth gap had grown more than any other time in US history.

Somehow Biden and Sanders understand that, but you don't! You're making a nonsense argument, but whatever you see that other politicians don't, that's fine.

There's a correlation in argument to be made with Dr King's speech.
