So people who are still under the impression their late votes will count get the rug pulled out from under them AFTER the new deadline for late postal voting has passed.

Anyone would think Republicans are deliberately trying to supress democracy.

 
Again, Post Office can prioritize ballots in the week leading up to election day. States can have a ballot return date that guarantees every sent in would be post marked for election day.

I think it's a lot of noise over nothing or very little.

Meanwhile, Texas have tried to have one drop box for 5 million ballots and a whole stack of votes are sitting in Miami Dade post office around two weeks now.

I think it's a lot about nothing because of the number of those who have already voted. Records are being broken across the country with the extended voting period. You really have to not want to vote to not vote.

How is it nothing if votes aren't being processed?

The only reason you think it's nothing is because 99/100 votes being counted is beneficial to one party.
