Do you also credit Obama for the introducing the 'gig economy', as we know it, to the American people?

You know, the first to lose any work in the pandemic...?

I don't know if you attend matches at the Etihad, if you do, once we're back to "normal" (please god make it soon) then you can buy me a pint, and I'll tell you what forty odd years of howling at the moon achieves, here's a taster....

"Fuck All"

They really don't get it on here!

It's laughable! The GOP will jam all the policies back up Biden's arse, so much so he'll compromise on things the GOP will want.

Honestly, it's like trying to explain to 2 year olds.
I’ll be honest @Bigga, it’s like a 5 year old explaining.

We’re telling you we get what you’re saying and understand your point of view, but you are standing there saying No. You’re not listening to me at every opportunity.

Personally I’m just interested in seeing how this election plays out and seeing the democratic rights of those who voted upheld.
There is one candidate in this election doing all he can to stop that.
He may well win. But it should only be valid after all votes are counted.

That’s all I’m interested in currently.

I know your view but don’t need any further lectures on why it doesn’t matter if Biden wins, or why he didn’t win a Latin vote here and did there. Interesting as it is, the fact is at the end of this process, one way or another there will be a president.

I am not in a bubble. I don’t get a vote. I have an opinion just like you however. I am intelligent enough to comprehend everything you are telling us and digest it and decide myself without the help of anyone else on here whether I think it is valid or not.

I agree with you when I agree with you and don’t when I don’t and I post it that way.

You can get tedious lecturing us that anyone who doesn’t listen, is in a forum bubble.

There are 50 shades of every opinion. You have said so yourself. Just keep it in mind when posting.

Rant over.

The BBC coverage was good in the night - that guy doing the info board was great. After the change of shift it’s gonna a bit shite.

Totally fine. I just find it hypocritical that a bunch of people who have a history of repeatedly stating their opinion on somebody should object to somebody repeatedly stating their opinion on someone. I'd wager that it's not the repeated stating of an opinion that they really have an issue with, instead the target of that opinion.

Do you not find it alarming that one of the very few regular "dissenters" of the mainstream opinion in this forum is getting chastised for sharing his opinion? Not even a blip on your "hold on, this feels like a bubble" radar?
No because I am well aware where Bigga's ire comes from. He is left wing progressive and he wants a better deal for the working man and woman and I fully support that. He wanted Sanders and he would have been my choice as well (if the US wasn't so mental in equating universal healthcare as communism). So politically we are more or less in alighment.

If Sanders was the nominee then Bigga would be just as angry about Trump and would post non-stop as to how he is disenfranchising the average American and how he's a danger to democracy as the majority on here. Of that I am 100% confident.

Where I disagree with Bigga is that because the Dems elected a nominee who isn't far enough left, he's decided and explained and made clear many times that he believes the only way poor and minority groups will get a fair deal is if the whole political process is shaken up. Bigga believes that 4 more years of Trump will lead to an uprising in the US that will change the state of play forever. He is happy for the house to burn down, with whatever casualties happen along the way as he believes that is the only way to truly emancipate the electorate.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that view as I don't believe it is rational as I am not politically radical. We spent 6 months debating the above and he won't change his view, nor will I change mine, hence I'd rather not continue to read his posts and bite, get worked up and ruin a thread with arguments that end up personal.

I've been up for a long while and not re-read the above so I hope it makes sense.

Michigan should go Blue when this plays out. 150k votes cut Trumps lead by 3 points and there's -300k more votes to come from this country.

Mate, they're hypocrites.

They don't like an opinion shining a light on the issues of their guy as well.

Doing so has them accusing me of being a supporter of the Gimp.

False equivalency, but they're too busying frothing at the mouth to understand it.

It's cool though, bud.

Cheers for posting.

It explains why the polls are wrong. If people support Trump or even if they don’t like Trump but don’t want Biden/Clinton, they stay quiet, just to stay out of trouble. I’m not basing this from this thread or what I just said a few moments ago, it’s my general view from the last four years.

I respect that, but 'lecturing' isn't something I do.

I'm just pointing out a few things for people to take onboard further down the line.
