Boring.
Anyone want to actually talk about Black issues with both of these parties...? Anyone...?
No...?
Thought not.
Yeah your right - Biden has done nothing for Black people....

Why do we think they have to wait 11 hours?
It's so sad to think that people in America must go through this.
This bullshit belongs in the past. All sides should give the people the easiest and most secure ways to cast their votes. It's so sad to think that people in America must go through this.
"Black issues" with the candidates are "moot" i.e., 'no one gives a fuck'.Thanks. We’ve heard your niche argument countless times. However many times you repeat your argument, it will remain niche and moot.

Got it.
Yep. Meantime, in California, I'm going to sit down with my ballot and a vodka, carefully fill in my selections, and then sign the envelope and drive and drop it off at the county building (vs. putting it in the post). We've been vote by mail here forever. This bullshit belongs in the past. All sides should give the people the easiest and most secure ways to cast their votes.
To me all these people are heroes. Literally putting their lives on hold to perform their civic duty despite all the blocks put in their way.
If you want, sure, but this is an election in which around 90% of the Black vote is going to end up with Biden, so I'm not sure what the purpose of arguing a counter-factual is.Boring.

He has 3000 youtube videos to "prove" that the real black people won't actually be voting Biden and he's more than willing to spam themIf you want, sure, but this is an election in which around 90% of the Black vote is going to end up with Biden, so I'm not sure what the purpose of arguing a counter-factual is.
Yes, true, but being looked down on as "deplorables" by Hilary Clinton drove a lot of voters to Trump in 2016 and I fear those divisions have only become deeper in the past four years. Maybe honest Joe Biden of Scranton, PA., can bridge that gap, but with the likes of AOC coming up behind him in the Democratic Party I think it's going to be a feature of U.S. politics for years to come. Strange how things change: 200 years ago Edmund Burke called the common people "the swinish multitude" as part of his defense of conservative principles, now it's the radical left doing the same to the folks who don't have fancy degrees. Insulting ordinary people has never been a way to get their support. Trouble is, Trump scorns them but they think he's on their side. Fuck off with his "'I just want to give you all a kiss."I would imagine Biden’s view on Trump supporters is the same as what most of us on here think about them.
This is a really useful topic for another time, but I agree about the casting out of the white, less educated working class. The deplorables comment by Clinton was a blunder of epic proportions. Trump has inflamed them because he's given them things to blame their lot in life on. And I'd argue it's not the radical left, but the moderate left, centrists and moderate right that have given these voters the paternalistic pat on the head. And I am a centrist. And I do it.Yes, true, but being looked down on as "deplorables" by Hilary Clinton drove a lot of voters to Trump in 2016 and I fear those divisions have only become deeper in the past four years. This is all, now and for the next three weeks. Let Texas and the Senate turn blue. Otherwise it's goodbye to health care, America as a city on a hill, and the polar bears.Right now Trump needs to be skewered and the chickenshit GOP enablers of his reign along with him.
