I was convinced up until this morning that he would lose but I'm getting nervous now........

I fear you're right. The sad thing is that there is no doubt that Joe Biden will receive millions more votes than Dumb Donald but the combination of packed courts and the electoral college will reinstall the racist tangerine.

One of the truly frightening things is this Trump performance was not considerably more ludicrous than others. They are consistently horrific. But he has used them to slowly normalise certain concepts and potential actions his camp may take over the next few weeks, for both his supporters and the country-at-large. People become numb to the lies and insanity.

And there are so many previous examples of this exact creep in history.

As Eugene O’Neil said, “There is no present or future - only the past, happening over and over again - now.”
