Once did a quiz on a coach tour of America with a mixed bag of people from all over the place. The tour guide gave us a sheet with the States listed alphabetically on the left and the capitals listed alphabetically on the right. You had to write the capital next to the appropriate state. My wife and I managed to get 48 right mainly by first of all doing the ones we knew then racking our brains for the rest. We came second to an American couple who managed 49 correct. I asked how was that possible as you just had to put the final capital against the blank state, they replied that they had actually used one capital twice against two different states. The state capitals are sometimes not the city you expect.Harrisburg is the capital of PA, Philadelphia is our largest city followed by Pittsburgh.
