I'm assuming he's been positioning himself to replace Trump as Republican leader? Even if Biden does a great job he's inheriting a mess and probably a covid related global recession so Giuliani probably fancies himself for president in 2024.

He's done. His previous and spectacular failure to run for the Presidency, when he only got a single delegate, seems to have pushed him over the edge. This will finish him completely.

Nothing directly against Biden but I feel that a leader should be younger and dynamic, There is a genuine risk that he would not survive a potential 8 year term in office.

I do think he would be a good vice president though.
