So much for the military rank and file being pro-Trump.
I guess calling those who died for their country suckers and losers doesn’t particularly endear him to their comrades.

Alas, the composition of those votes is primarily civilians living abroad, rather than military, so not much can be gathered about military voting trends from them.

That said, I do know some military people here (Maine and a few other states) that think that tracking will ultimately skew officers for Biden, enlisted for Trump, but the the latter category will be a smaller advantage than in 2016, so Biden likely did win back some support.

I was only making a bad joke about the devastation wrought upon the earth by the biblical great flood, no need to apologise. :-)

Edit: I am an atheist so I may very well be struck down by a divine bolt of lightning for all of these comments and jokes. If so, I leave my three bags of the finest snow in all of Palm Beach to @mat — he’ll know how to best use them.

Not contradicting your general point (which I agree with), but I posted a bit earlier in the thread that the Maine military and overseas ballots reported actually skew heavily civilian living abroad, so not much insight can be derived from them as far as military voting trends.

There are plenty of other indications that Biden did pickup military support that went to Trump in 2016, though.

I think your stance is understandable re any divine entity.
