I agree.I mean, what are Republicans in DC going to do? They're stuck with agreeing with Trump's insane ramblings and offering him unwavering support or getting primaried by some idiot nut job the next time they're up for re-election, unless they're safe from that (i.e. Sasse, Romney, etc.) And if they don't win Georgia they've been not emasculated but certainly had their wings clipped legislatively. Trump will announce his re-election bid on Inauguration day, and he'll be off to the races, with his cult demanding their representatives and senators immediately endorse Trump for President in 2024 or face their wrath at the ballot box. They've tied themselves to this; they are in no control of the direction they're headed.
Trump is going to lay waste to the Republican party, and possibly split it in two; I'm guessing there's a good chance he starts the Patriot Party (the first thing he hasn't named after himself). It will end as all 3rd party splits in the US do -- in humiliation.
It will be some last minute theatre which the media and some republicans will treat with the embarrassment it deserves.
