Wire score just before half time to make it 12-10
Leeds score just after HT with only 11 players on pitch to make it 18-10
Sin bin over for Leeds as well now, so back to 12

Disappointed in Wire, they look really dis-jointed, and Leeds looking the better team with a player less

Great game of rugby! Hopefully some terrestrial first-time viewers enjoyed that and get interested in the game.

Wire didn’t play well (look well undercooked, it was like watching City at Spurs on the first game in August), but Leeds were great with 12 and 11 men and made it a great spectacle that went to the final hooter.

Bentley’s had a problem with Widdop since Widdop came over. It’s like Widdop went round his house on Christmas Day and pissed on his kids or something, he’s always trying to take his head off.

For about the sixth season in a row, I’ll start the season by saying that it would be unusual for Wire to do anything serious with the set of props we have.

Cooper and Philbin are good, but Mulhearn and Bullock aren’t the answer to improve upon the first two. We have to get better props if we want to be serious challengers.
