I am all in favour of margins of error, but, to me, without VAR I wouldn't have a problem with that call. Not because the attacker's shoulder is 2 mm ahead of the defender's toe, but because his torso is ahead of the defender's torso. He went too soon, basically.
In the old, linesmen error-strewn days. that would have been called offside and, imo, quite rightly so.

A police insider from Qatar opened up on the strict laws in the country which are also in place for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and asserted that the fans should prepare to face some tough times ahead. The officer said sex is essentially banned unless you are married to your partner and that there will not be any drink or party culture after the matches.

Seen this doing the rounds on Facebook claiming it's Doha, but pretty sure that's Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. He was over here a few weeks ago doing some work for City.
