It’s been around for 40 odd years and I’m going all Blue Moon pedant on you :-)
It’s been recently adopted by the Welsh Football team. It’s been used for years by the Scarlets RFC.
It’s very passionate though and translation “We are Still here “
 
You know things are bad when the World Cup discussion has turned into the Eurovision Song Contest. The Welsh are a proud nation who sing with passion and play with their heart on their sleeves. They also win fuck all and are shite at pretty much everything. Their rugby team has been their pride and joy and even then they bottle it in every world cup.

Just to add even when they got to the Euro 2016 semi finals and England were absolutely abysmal we beat them in the group stage. Bloody Welsh. I hope they lose every game and we give them an absolute battering.

I doff my cap to the mighty England football team ......who have won one fucking tournament more than Wales, ever, in the history of football & that was because it was held in England.

A lot harping on about it being in Qatar will still watch it, though some will boycot it for the HR issues other because it is ruining the football calander and are left uninterested in it

If you watch watch the Netflix documentary FIFA Uncovered you get a pretty good Idea why.

When it was announced you can actually hear the gasps from the crowd within FIFA. Nobody expected them to win and the American bidding team look absolutely stunned as they were overwhelming favourites to win the bid.

The 2018 winner was announced on the same day and again England were firm favourites to win to many people within FIFA as England already had the stadiums, travel infrastructure and accommodation something which Russia didn't and once again there was shock in the FIFA auditorium and disbelief when Russia were announced as hosts
