2022 World Cup Discussion

After the sportsmanship showed by Argentinan players after their game Vs the Netherlands I hope for every other winner. These scumbags need a humbling beating instead of silverware. This includes Messi.
Perhaps you might want to take a look at some of the events during the penalty shoot-out with the poor sportsmamship from some of the Dutch players. Trying to intercept them on their way to take a penalty is just not the done thing. What happened afterwards maybe more akin to karma than you think. If you cna't take it then don't start something in the first place springs to mind.

If it ends up a Morocco, Croatia final which ever channel has first pick will go with Celebrity Love Island on Ice and make the other channel show the final.

I hope Argentina win it now for two reasons.

1) Alvarez is the only City player left in the tournament.

2) Messi is the greatest player to ever put on a pair of football boots in my opinion, so I'd love to see him win it. And you just know how much that would annoy Ronaldo which is an added bonus.

Add to that a bonus for annoying Bruno Fernandes, which was clown enough to cry after the game that the Argentinian referee denied him a clear(!!) penalty on his excellent dive. He is used to these dives sometimes tricking referees but this time thankfully didn't work, so now his cries is an absolute pleasure to hear.

Indeed. I had the same bad impression for Argentina players but what Otamendi has said about Netherland players(about the penalty process that they were harassing Argentine penalty takers), seems to be right.

I thought I would hate this competition with all the media negativity in the months, weeks and days before. I haven’t. I have really enjoyed it. It’s Been a difficult few weeks for me following the death of my mum but this has been a good diversion. Love the kick off times and some of the games have been crackers.

It’s good to see the fans of both teams mingling in the stadium with no trouble or segregation. Never known that before when England play! Obviously no one would risk it there.

The Argentina/Netherlands game last night while I was in the pub was fantastic drama.

England unlucky tonight and hopefully an Argentina v Morocco final! Alvarez to score the winner!

Sorry for your loss mate, may God bless her and may he helps you and your family in coming to terms with this monumental loss
