Even before today, did anyone seriously think England were going to win the competition? Not "had a chance" (while they're still out there, they have a chance), but actually thought that they were going to win? I didn't; India or the Aussies (South Africa as an outside chance).

I would say England should be favourites against anyone other than India or Australia.

If England can live up to that billing depending on how the tournament goes they might only have to beat one of either India or Australia to win the whole thing.
