2025/26 NFL

Watching some of the NFL catches in recent weeks has had me reflecting on how goalkeepers have become so catch averse in recent seasons. Even when under less physical pressure, they seem to be more comfortable parrying, punching, or flapping rather than taking the ball cleanly.

That’s a great point. I wonder how training with a WR coach could help goalkeepers to develop.

That’s the Bengals’ season then. Having hope was nice but Burrow and the defence threw that game away.

Saints may have their QB in Tyler Shough driving us to a soggy unexpected win in Tampa

Steelers just 5 ahead in Baltimore with 2 minutes to play in the game that will decide the division lead. Rodgers isn't throwing well and the Steelers defensive line can't lay a finger on Jackson. They've also had two huge let-offs when what looked like a Ravens TD was ruled out as the received was judged to not have the ball under control.

Poor Danny Jones has just done his achilles
11-12 months - confirmed achilles tear. No Anthony Richardson either as he’s on IR. So it’s Riley Leonard for now. That’s the Colts’ season done so. Likely means the Jets have 2 top-15 picks too.

At least one positive the Bengals can draw from the season is the O-Line’s improvement. We’ve drafted well on the O-Line recently and it’s not really been an issue during the second part of the season so far.

Now I just hope we get a good draft position and draft either Downs or a LB. The linebackers are absolutely brutal this season. One of the worst units in NFL history.
