Was looking forward to seeing a bit more from him, but I can wait. Sané and Bernardo took a while to ramp up for us.

I think my expectations were too high. He was anonymous until very late in when he had a go and we saw a glimpse of what he might bring.

At the moment he seems to be in the same meek and shy phase that Sane and Bernardo both went through. He just needs time to settle and as corny as it sounds.. make some friends!

Seemed a bit passive and didn't demand the ball enough.

However, I did like some of his runs off the ball (including one picked out by Foden) in the 1st half.

That's the bit that excited me. I think they've both got the eye for that kind of pass and if they can develop the understanding and trust on the pitch to make those runs then I think we're going to be in for an exciting few years.

Wasn't really involved in the game, especially in the 1st half. Got to be patient with the kid, only 20. I'm sure he'll come good soon.
