If the last sentence is true, doesn't that reflect badly on City's recruitment policy?
To be honest we were never gonna get the next Sane. Especially not for £24m. Sane is one of the best left wingers in the world. Torres will be great, just don't expect Sane. Different playing styles.

Far too early to make any claims. He's still only 20, barely had preseason and is learning a new system. How long did it take for Sane to start making progress? It wasn't until the new year. Give Torres some time and then make judgement.

Small sample size and I'm not writing him off yet by a long shot.

But in the evidence seen so far, doesn't look fit to lace Sane's boots.
Yeah Sane dropped 10/10 every match he played at City and that Pep dropped him bcoz of personal agenda and not on basis of form in 2018-19

Remember Sane making his first start against I think Borrusia Monchengladbach(spelling, horrible name) and he looked like a runner that had never touched a ball in his life before. In fact, it took him months to even look like a footballer. He went from hopeless to most exciting young player in the league over night in december 2016.

Sane was wank until December of his first season here.

That Arsenal game in which he scored.
