Unbelieveable that people were criticising him after his first few appearence. He’s a star in the making and this was only a glimpse of what’s to come. With a good run of games and confidence he will be a massive asset

I hope so. His pace was impressive tonight, I like the way he got his head up, that pass at pace to Raz outside of the boot was lovely, good technique and confidence to make that happen. Good composure to take on finish for his goal. Quick feet, and always seemed to want to make something happen. We’ve been missing some of our directness and urgency going forward, I think he could go some way to bringing that back into our play. Well done Ferran, hope this helps him settle in and find his feet.

Looked a class act tonight. Some very good runs, touches of class, odd injection of pace and his finish was quality. When he went through for his goal he always looked like he was gonna Bury it, when sterling had a very similar chance soon after you knew he'd fluff it

Yep, it was a really encouraging performance. Bodes well for the future. As you say, a great finish and looked quicker than I expected. After a couple of understandably timid performances, you could feel him growing in confidence tonight.

Dyche had them playing a fairly high line for a defensive setup so everyone was certainly more comfortable and had space to attack. I think the hard part for wingers coming into this system is getting used to trying to attack with so many men behind the ball
