Much more promising tonight. Still looks like he’s not sure where he should be half the time but he’ll get there. Would like to see him use his left foot though, was a few times a left footer would have laid a ball on a plate for a tap in.

Looks to be a very classy player, Decent turn of pace, great awareness and a good technique. Needs time to adapt and build some chemistry with the team and there could be some player

I busted out laughing late in the game, when some Burnley bully ran into him and pushed him over. It was a 50/50 on being a foul.

Torres looked at the ref like "Dude just pushed me over" the ref had a look on his face that said

" Yeah, that's a foul... In La Liga. Welcome to English football :)

Reward him with a start this weekend.

Scored a great goal and assisted also. I like his connection with De Bruyne, they seem to be on the same page, Kev created 2-3 amazing chances for Torres, on another day he has a hat trick.

Showed it all last night, pace, technique, finishing, dribbling, pressing, getting back. Love it.

Technically superior to Leroy, IMO.
Leroy had prodigious athletic gifts but this guy has been highly rated for several years and will show it over the coming seasons.

The key difference, and what Ferran needs to adapt to, is that Sane had developed in a way where he was still dangerous and could make things happen against the low block. Ferran needs to learn this, it will be pretty alien to him. Burnley last night gave us space in behind for some mad reason. Barely anyone else will.

But unlike Sane, Ferran I think will develop very well in that facet of his game, against the low block.

His overall passing ability is very good, and he is a tight dribbler.

I think Ferran stands a better chance in this regard.
