If we dont sign a striker,which is a big if.....yep i agree he'll probably be rotating with Jesus,but i dont see him having a long term future there and neither do i see him dislodging our current 'widemen'.Edozie,Palmer and even Borges will all be up his backside too.
 
Idk what to expect of him tbh. Hope he‘s having a good season.
 
He has to start getting involved in games. There’s huge periods in matches where he just completely disappears and today was more of the same. He has great movement and can clearly finish but if he isn’t scoring, he does very little else to influence play.
 
We're going to make a terrible mistake if we think we can let Jesus leave because Torres could be number 9. I'm sorry but he's just not good enough *in this position* right now. If Kane arrives and is injured for a long time, then what?
 
Remember, he has basically just come back from vacation guys, so let's chill a bit.

We rarely play through our strikers anyways, doesn't matter who it is.

That being said, if this is how he and Pep see his future here, then he must improve. And I hope he does.
 
Maybe he’ll become one, but I just don’t see him as a centre forward. He doesn’t have the strength to play with his back to goal and doesn’t seem to have the ability to drop and link play. If we sign a centre forward, then I can see him playing out wide and throwing crosses in, but again without pace that could also be a challenge.
