He should be nowhere near this side. I have no idea how we have ended up going into a season with him up front. We are the fucking champions.No, not a striker for me.
He did a great job playing winger for Spain, I say we put him back there.

Started off alright and made some good runs but I don't know how anyone could be comfortable going into this season with him as a main striker.

I get that but my issue is that we’ve seen plenty at this club who were clearly no worse than Torres who didn’t get a sniff. One of um ripped it up in Germany and has just signed for them cnuts across the road. Even now, Pep wouldn’t go into the season with Delap up top. Delap is no worse than Torres.to be fair if we had everyone available he wouldn’t be starting
Torres is youngster, trying to break into league cup team level, but because we paid actual money for him, he is in the side. We have better academy players who cost us nothing that won’t get a game.

100%. Delap and Palmer will never be given the chances Ferran has been given over the past 12 months.
