YepShould have kept Zinchenko.
YepShould have kept Zinchenko.
We would have, Zinchenko didn’t want to keep us.Should have kept Zinchenko.
How much truth is there to that.We would have, Zinchenko didn’t want to keep us.
Gimez is not cause of our problems. Pep decided to sign him. He is young and rash doesn't mean he can't improve. People have already made decision that he is shit. Hell for young player like him, benefit of first season is also not givenAnd he'll still end up playing more than Gomez will.
Feel a bit sorry for him as he’s clearly trying hard but he just isn’t anywhere near good enough. It’s clear Pep knows this too - it hasn’t taken long for Gomez to just be ignored. Gomez isn’t to blame for anything, but the club are. How can they decide he’s the man to replace Zinchenko, who in my opinion is absolutely world class as an inverted full back coming into midfield. And I mean that, world class at it. His build up, positional awareness, his passing, his tempo, everything is unreal. Selling him I’ve no problem with as he wanted to go, but how can we think Gomez was the answer? We’re now having to play centre backs at full back way more often than we ought to be.
at least we didn't sign cucurellaShould have kept Zinchenko.
Spot onA bit shaky defensively but thought he was good going forward, you can tell he's a winger playing at full-back.
As I said in the match thread, I think his defensive frailties are mostly down to tactics (specifically how he and those ahead of him on the pitch are instructed to play) so they aren’t really that concerning. Pep will know about how he is exposed and still asks him to play that way, which means he sees Gomez as contributing as a traditional “Pepback” (just coined that; rights reserved).A bit shaky defensively but thought he was good going forward, you can tell he's a winger playing at full-back.
