21 | Sergio Gomez - 2023/24

A shame he didn't get a proper chance to be honest, think he would've been great in that left wing position but was never really trusted for whatever reason.

Good luck to him, sure he'll thrive elsewhere.

Classy message - A talented player who I believe will do very well in La Liga - he was unfortunate that we have such a strong squad that his opportunities were limited still 38 games in 2 years is not bad. Good luck to the lad.

Hope he’s a success in Spain. He’s played for the best team in the world under Pep. He’ll be a much better player for it. Good luck to the lad.

He had two years to prove himself, and he played less in his second season than his first. Never good enough, to be honest. Proving yourself happens in training first, so if he wasn't getting game time, he obviously wasn't doing it in training.

The fee tells you everything you need to know, because bit-part players from clubs like us are regularly going for over 30 million these days.

But yeah, professional, never complained, and did his job when called upon. Good luck to him.

The problem was he wasn’t quite good enough (or trusted enough) to get the game time he needed to improve.

Felt bad for him. Clearly wasn't trusted by Pep but never publicly complained. Hope he does well in La Liga - there's clearly a talented player in there
