Blasting in aimless crosses still, no defending to do , difficult to get any impression

Just blasting it when we dont play that way seems a bit pointless to me , he is obviously not going to get any better at that , i would sell himWould you rather he floated one in for the inevitable single player we will have in the box to compete against the 6 defenders surrounding him only for the keeper to claim with ease anyway?
His crossing is erratic at times which includes overhitting them when more finesse would be a better bet but he generally puts in a number of good balls per game that should be pounced upon but never are.
Mendy was good tonight, all threat down the left ended when zinchenko replaced him.

so I personally don't have much faith in you ability to judge crosses.
I know you have chosen the mendy hill to die on but dont expect me to agreeHis crossing was good today. About 4 got through to their man, which in the modern game, with a side out height is very good going. He also had some brilliant disguised pullbacks which lead to dangerous shots by Foden.
You went off on one in the match thread about a cross where Mendy fizzed in a ball meant for Sterling and Foden who was about 6 yards closer to Mendy tried to take it himself and failed. A lot of people saw that in the match thread as well as the players on the pitch, so I personally don't have much faith in you ability to judge crosses.
At least he could smash one in once in a whileOtherwise known as ‘doing a Kolarov’
decent performance, but we never first time the cross into the net and always try to take the first touch.
