I’m struggling to find out what exactly Rodrigo adds to the team that we do not already have from the available players.

With his age, if we’re going to play him today, why play him on Wednesday? Doyle could’ve played.

Like David Silva last season, 2 games in 3 days just looks too much now. He should be one game per week. It seemed a clear choice.

Still looks a better 6 than Rodri and he’s not close to the player her was... which points to one of the several problems we have in the team at the moment.

Looks like he'll be leaving as expected at the end of the season, according to Yan Couto at least:

Yeah dinho already said he would like to end his journey with the cl this season

He goes under the radar for many but he is every bit a hero like the others in that group

Another sad one for me

There are few players you can refer to as irreplaceable but Dinho is one of them , and there isnt a footballer in the world at the moment who could match him in his prime at any price , our supporters realise the influence he has had on our club but he has mainly been ignored by the media , and when you see pundits rimming the likes of Jordan Henderson it makes you realise how f*cking clueless some people are. Henderson might have a chumps league medal but he isnt and never has been fit to lace Dinho's boots.

Bissouma looks like a very good option as a replacement,or,for considerably more,Rice could also be what we need.

We have a few in the academy, that could be brilliant, but they are a little way off yet.

big hopes for Doyle it would be a dream to have him and Foden as the axis of our midfield for the next decade.
I'd love it too,but i'm not convinced he is quite the quality we need.He takes a fantastic free kick,he can pass the ball and he's tenacious with a great engine, but he seems to lack a bit of mobility and his size could be an issue.

A loan is needed, the right loan.
