You know what... I opened up a couple player tabs and responded about the wrong player.

For some reason I thought your comment was about Yan Couto.

Edit: I'm gonna leave the comment up because it was my mistake in reading too many comments lol.
Alright cool :)

Pellegrini signed 'dinho but I think he had Pep's approval.

I think he's been our most important player since his arrival. A player who was here at least 18 months before others cottoned on to how good he was, but we knew he already was something special. And Yaya knew better than anyone because Fernandinho carried him at least two seasons before he left.

He's been the metronome in making this side tick and will be missed when he leaves. Still should be played in all the big games as he never goes hiding and knows how to win.
Bullocks! Pep wasn't even guaranteed to come here when we signed Dihno. Why would Pelegrini be seeking Pep"s approval for a signing?

Just give Pelegrini his due. He signed some really good players too.

Pellers was always an interim manager, Pep knew alright and gave his approval whether you believe it or not.
I think Pep was only known to refer KDB and Sterling (2015/16). The former of which really pissed Bayern off. But I might be wrong here.

When Fernandinho signed for City Manuel Pellegrini wasn't even manager, but his arrival as manager was imminent. It was Txiki Begiristain and KAM who persuaded Fernandinho to sign and Ferno was so keen to sign that he stumped up 4m of his own money to come to City as the transfer fee was complicated and protracted. He signed for the 'bigger picture' knowing Pellegrini was only keeping the seat warm as interim boss until Pep arrived.

I'd love it too,but i'm not convinced he is quite the quality we need.He takes a fantastic free kick,he can pass the ball and he's tenacious with a great engine, but he seems to lack a bit of mobility and his size could be an issue.

A loan is needed, the right loan.
Leeds & Bielsa would be ideal , not sure he would start many games though

No, he was desperate to sign for City due to his desperation to represent Brazil in their home World Cup in 2014.

No one even knew at that point how long Pep stays at Bayern. He certainly was not making any decisions relating to City until maybe 2015 summer.

Because using that logic, Pep also then wanted Mangala and Fernando who were signed in 2014.

I heard off somebody close to the club. What I wrote about Fernandinho signing was Ferno knew Pep was coming to City after Pellers. I'm not arguing the point further pal, just what I've heard.
