Turned back the clock, amazing to play two tough games in the space of 72 hours at his age.

Very enjoyable performance from the captain. Brentford’s more direct style and overt physicality played right into his hands.

Not that he just did the dirty stuff, mind you. He was very good on the ball too

We are obviously missing Rodri but Fern still does a job protecting that defence.

Yep,my appraisal too.

Surprised he got through the 90,as he was running on empty towards the end which leads me to hoping Rodri is available Saturday.

The man is a legend though.

You read some post’s, he’s legs have gone, too slow. He’s never been super fast..
At 36 yrs paying 90mins twice in a week just about say’s everything you need to know !
He’s playing for City.. He would be playing more for lesser teams in the league. He can’t get much game time because of other class players and he’s not the only one..
