He’s not a left back apparently. And he is smashing it. Was he highly rated at dortmund? How come we got on the cheap?
Dortmund fan I know said he's ok but prone to an error, likes to play out from the back but isn't solid. Apparently they needed him off the books hence the push to do a deal, I think because he wouldn't sign a new contract or wanted a wage increase.

I wasn't overly excited when he arrived, but he's turned out to be a real Rolls Royce of a player.

He was excelling(being the best or on the top) in all defensive statistics(and pass accuracy ones) in Germany and was very bad at just one: headers.
He was considered the worst in headers. And that was bugging Dortmund, probably because of the many crosses in Germany game that you must clear the high ball with good efficiency.

Walker is going to miss out I think.

What? Why?
He should play by all means. We need his pace to correct things from time to time. And he is a stable defender. The overload came form Silva's bad day yesterday, not because Walker's fault. Yet, Walker indeed got tired after about 80 minute or so but it's understandable. He played in all games lately without any rest for all 90+ minutes and played also in both 3 party games against Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford so he didn't had time for any rest at all.

Not one of my best takes, earlier in this thread.

Guys a monster. Top footballer and looks so much more assured.
