Should swap sides with Dias. His left foot looks better than Ruben’s and it’d open up more passing lanes.

He had a year left on his contract didn’t he? And he wasn’t signing a new deal? I get the feeling he was earmarked as a free transfer signing next summer to no doubt replace Ake who obviously wouldn’t mind leaving. But the injury situation made them think fuck it, let’s pay for him and get him in early. Looks a bargain on tonight’s showing.

Surprisingly easy game for him as Sevilla offered nothing, but lord is he fast.

I wouldn't mind him play RB in Walker's role if it means it switches to a back 3 when the other defenders are fit. He's quick enough to act as a counter attack deterrent.
