Akanji is a strange one because of some basic errors like against Brentford at home last season, Burnley last week, or in the Champions League final, but just as much he is capable of a rock-solid performance. It's a bit of hit and miss with him. For me, he has always been a backup for all of our back 4 positions, and since we had injuries at the back last season/this season, he has been playing way more than expected. This season, he will probably be back to a backup option. That's why we brought him in as a deadline-day transfer. Overall it's what Borussia Dortmund fans said. He is a great player but with a mistake in him. Out of our defenders, for me, he is last in the pecking order. I like him at RB/ or RCB, but not paired with Ake.
