CR7....?? you were doing so well too
C'mon mate, I can't stand him nor the fact that he played for the rags, he doesn't belong to my personal top 10, but I have to acknowledge his achievements. He's a monster, his accolades speak for him no matter how much it irks me to say it.

Its not his ability, its the cringey nickname.

Leicester fan here so obviously biased, however I can't help but shake my head at some of the posters who set their mind a long time ago and want him gone no matter what, @PannickAtTheDisco taking the cake by a country mile. We had and still have some of these in our ranks.

No point pretending to recognize his current form just just to take a snarky dig at him or saying that he's playing for a move which would sky-rocket his value, opening the doors to Messi for example. I for one, think that Messi ain't going anywhere, his fate is tied to Barca for the better or the worse. Even then, one must be deluded to think that Messi could be deployed as a right winger like he still was 20 years old.

You're playing beautiful football, have one of the greatest managers ever and I really wish that you'll finally win the CL. But it's quite sad to see some so deeply entrenched in their beliefs that they can't even appreciate one of the most gifted players in the league, playing for them, finally reaching his 2015/16 level again and helping his team to clinch the title while lighting up the PL.

Enjoy him like we did, he might not be as consistent as say CR7 or Messi, but there's very few players who get you off your seat (or couch) like he does when he's on it. For all their woes, this kind of flair players don't grow up on trees.
Still hasn’t fully won me over. He’s on a good run at the minute, but there’s nothing more annoying than a half arsed Mahrez strolling around the pitch. I want to see City wingers and strikers win games by themselves. It’s only recently we’ve seen Mahrez is capable of that.

Had a tremendous game against Southampton - nearly a hat trick; was a bit sorry for him when Pep seemed to make a planned substitution at the hour mark. Credit to Mahrez for not razing a fuss at coming off the field looking to complete a hat trick.

We know how good he is mate, but he's really only done it for three or four stretches over his time here, the rest of the time he's been very flat.

"half arsed", I know what you mean but at least since start of this season he puts in much more defensive work - like the whole team.

You're talking about past times, Mahrez has improved defensively. At least he tries to get back behind opponent players to slow down their attack.
