Nothing selfish about it for me. He has proven beyond doubt he has a clinical left foot and has every right as a fwd to shoot on site, wish more would do similar

I don't think clinical is the right word to describe Mahrez.

Definitely. I praised him in the post match thread just now for his overall improvement in decision making. But it was clear second half that he was making some poor shooting decisions when he should've really been sliding a teammate in or keeping possession. Still a fucking tiny minor gripe in an otherwise TOP performance for me.

I was really surprised to see some posters found him frustrating. The shooting aside, I thought he was one of the best players on the pitch.

People are easily frustrated (most of the player threads and even the Pep thread are a testament to that). For me when he plays like he did yesterday and has done in the last few weeks, he looks perfect for this team and system.

He's been guilty of greed often enough previously but he wasn't greedy tonight. He was in legitimate shooting positions and there wasn't anybody in better positions than him when he took the shot on. We always moan about players not shooting enough yet are quick to call mahrez greedy when he does take on a shot despite most of us probably screaming shoot at the TV.

Want him gone? In fairness,you never wanted him in the first place.

I agree though,we can improve on him if we can find a buyer.
