Can't fault the work rate but he offered very little width and wandered around up front. Walker was visibly annoyed with having no pass unlike Cancelo and Foden.

Walker just runs like a headless chicken into Mahrez and then gives him the ball when they are 2 feet apart. Don't understands why he keeps doing that. Cancelo Mahrez works much better

He looked a bit of a softy in his first year. But then I began to see a truely magnificently gifted footballer who was coming to terms with the realisation that wouldn't be enough. It was like he realised it wasn't going to be all about him, and was determined to show there was more to him than goal of the month and youtube videos... You could see he'd got his pride and confidence, and was going to make the most of this chance to achieve at the highest level. He's focused on his technique, workrate, and tactical application, and his work has been absolutely central to this new team. It sets the bar for people like Foden.

Bit harsh. First goal was all him. Foden made a mess of his cross but Mahrez still managed to create a goal

I think an absolute killer is in at the far post and scores a tap in. Did well to find KDB but he should execute that pass 9 out of 10 times no problem.

Very good performance tonight. Crucial tackle and assist for the first goal. Completely unselfishness on the ball, also presses and tracks back almost the whole 90 minutes.

I reckon it is Mahrez who should have been annoyed with Walker slow decision making and his sideway passes.

Very noticeable how much he worked tonight however it wasn't his night and should have been replaced with sterling's pace after about 70 minutes

Mahrez was nowhere to be seen so I don't see how you work that out. When Walker received the ball, more often than not, Mahrez was having to come from the middle of the pitch or the other side altogether to provide an out pass, he very rarely held his position like Phil did.

So obviously Walker can't make a quick pass, he had nobody to pass to...

Decent performance tonight. I still expect more of him with his quality. Might sound harsh but it’s because I know how good he can be. Certainly not MotM but up there with the better performers.

Walker isn’t passing forwards anyway, he is fucking allergic to it.
