Because Walker is a great passer, and it's constantly going forward. Mahrez played well, way better than Rodri, Cancelo, Ederson, Gundogan, Bernardo... the only ones who played better were Foden and KDB.Mahrez was nowhere to be seen so I don't see how you work that out. When Walker received the ball, more often than not, Mahrez was having to come from the middle of the pitch or the other side altogether to provide an out pass, he very rarely held his position like Phil did.
So obviously Walker can't make a quick pass, he had nobody to pass to...
