When the second half of the season comes around, he'll come alive. I know it!

Destroyed them in the second half, his best ever performance for us and one the best from anyone in a City shirt in a long time, this probably means Pep will bench him on Sunday.

Since "World Cup" pause he is our best attacking player without any doubt..

I would even say best player in the team, but Rodri is untouchable in that term..

If you have that level in your locker, why the fuck are you spending most of each game facing our goal and passing it backwards? That 2nd half was nothing short of sensational, absolute world class level that was. If he played like that most week, he would be my favourite player. There are few words for how fucking good he was in that 2nd half.
Let's be honest though, playing like that is a higher risk strategy. There were definitely times where a bad pass would have massively exposed us. But obviously if you're already losing, you've got nothing to lose. When we got to 3-2, we went back to the more controlled style of play.

You’re right but they are wide forwards in a front 3. It’s borderline ridiculous that our wide men spend more time facing our goal than the oppositions. At our best we are the best side in the this league and possibly the world, why would we be shit-scared of anyone? Why would this team, under this manager be worried about teams that are massively inferior to us? Every now and again, it would go against us, just like it did in 17/18 and 18/19 but just like those seasons, most of the time we would fucking destroy whoever is in front of us.

That's what he can do when the handbrake is off.

Clearly both wingers were allowed to take more risks in the second half and while Grealish looked brighter, Mahrez was just on a whole other level.

Have said it before hundreds of times but will never, ever understand the hate he gets. Half the forum was saying Cole Palmer was better than him a few weeks back
Well all you have to do is assess his 2nd half tonight against what’s gone before. There’s not a City fan on here that is unaware of how good he can be and in the 2nd half we saw it. Unfortunately, that 2nd half hasn’t been the norm from him, if it was, nobody would have a bad word to say about him.

Pep even said he was on holiday before the world cup.

He was shite.

This Mahrez found something in him, like a realization that he can toy with defenders if he wants, and be aggressive.

Hats off, I criticised him but boy he was good tonight. Showing the application with the ability he has and we have some player
